What does Maru mean ?
Everyone has their nicknames that were somehow derived from either special event or joke , but for me when I was in Japan everyone struggled saying my name . MA. RU. GA .RE. TO .They said slowly and weird, specially the old people couldn`t memorize my name !!! Then I tried to shortten my name to Maru. It is like magic!! it was much easier ...Actually, In Japanese "Maru" is a word that means "circle" and I love it...
